Meet Toni Watson at Jade Health and Wellness in Phoenix, AZ

She began her educational career at Estrella Mountain, where she received his associate’s degree with a focus on social work. She transferred through the MAPP program in Maricopa County to Arizona State University, where she received his Bachelor’s of Social Work. She ended up completing the advanced standing curriculum to now have a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University.

Her main areas of study focused on advanced direct practice. She completed various courses on a wide range of topics that covered public policy, hospital social work, school social work, and direct care focused on substance use and mental health. 

Her current care philosophy comes from a strengths-based approach to independence and stability. She wants to help clients learn how to utilize their strengths in unique ways to help guide them in their recovery process as well as gain a sense of self-worth.

Her areas of expertise are working in substance use as well as having a specialty in working with clients who struggle with eating disorders. She began his career as an eating disorder therapist which led her down a path of working with individuals who struggle with substance use disorders as well. She works with many different mental health diagnoses. She has specialty trauma training that includes certifications in EMDR and sand tray. She is also trained in DBT.
